Music has always been a part of him, but he never really acted on it. That changed the first time he visited Thuishaven with friends — inspired by the atmosphere, he decided to start his own journey into music. About two years ago, it began as a small hobby. He spent time mixing in his parents’ attic with a cheap controller, not taking it too seriously at first, just exploring whether he truly enjoyed it.
After a year, he decided to take things further and see what he could really achieve. Since then, he has become much more dedicated, investing increasing amounts of time into his craft. Around Christmas, he bought himself a laptop and began producing music. Although he had experimented with production in the past, he had never fully committed — until now. Still in the process of discovering and learning, he embraces the journey as part of his growth.
Under the name JØWO, he is developing his own sound. Rather than sticking to a single genre, he focuses on feeling — rhythms that flow naturally and bass you can truly feel. With some work already released, this marks just the beginning, with much more to come.
