“Two guys, a second-hand computer, two speakers, and a small red box where you can plug in a microphone and a guitar.
That’s it! Then we said: ‘Let’s record a song!’
Brian and Stefan don’t look alike and approach the world in totally different ways, but they have one thing in common: ‘they never leave the house without their headphones!’ Stefan’s living room quickly became a creative hub—writing, talking, inventing, and creating.
Making something out of nothing is nothing new to them, and sometimes they’re not even sure what they’ve just done. ‘As long as it sounds good’ is the motto (well, actually it’s Brian’s). While Stefan figures everything out, Brian (almost) always thinks: ‘If it’s good, then it’s good!’ The dynamic, however, is like this: ‘He doesn’t settle for just anything, and that makes us better every day!’
What have we been doing? Creating, creating, creating, and creating some more. It seemed like an endless well of ideas (and sometimes still does…), but the power lies in generating them. ‘Keep going until we drop’ is one of our mottos! Without a beat, we have no story, hence the slogan: ‘Without a beat, there’s no story!'”
